Parcel collection notifications are going digital with Australia Post. 

In some states, customers who have registered with MyPost will receive a digital collection notification if they are not home when their parcel arrives instead of the traditional card. 

Digital notifications have more accurate and useful information than a card, and you can choose to receive them by email, SMS or through the AusPost app. They are sent once the parcel is ready for collection at the nearest Post Office. 

This change is only applicable to those customers who have registered MyPost account. If your parcel has not been successfully matched to your MyPost account, Australia Post will leave a card.
